Economix provides challenging jobs for people interested in economic and social issues. Three types of jobs are offered:
Trainees: We offer on the job training for a minimum period of 8 weeks to students in economics and social science. You will work on specific projects with experienced researchers. What you need is a good feel for statistical data, practical experience with computers and at least one year of university education.
Research assistants: If you are interested in statistics, data management, text layout and organisation of surveys this might be a job for you. You will need good practice in regular computer software. Experience with statistical programs and knowledge of computer languages is an advantage. At least one foreign language is required.
Researchers: You have acquired your university degree in economics or social science with an outstanding result. You speak and write at least two foreign languages and you are interested in international economics. Your studies included econometrics and statistics and you are familiar with computer programs.
