Summary:
On the behalf of the Labour and Economic Department of the state capital Munich Economix analysed in 2004 the local conditions for medical technologies. The study concludes that the economic area of Munich with its focus on medical services, biotechnologies and the medical and technological research provides an excellent environment for medical technologies. Medical technologies are part of the regional cluster “medicine” and thus offer synergy effects for growth and employment.
